I recently went to a new place for me. I had heard of it and had seen the signs to it on my way to Blacktoft Sands so I thought I would go and see what it had to offer. Crowle Moor is run by The Lincolshire Wildlife Trust and covers an area of lowland peat vegetation. I went armed with my macro lens as I had heard that there was an abundance of small insects (butterflies, dragonflies and beetles). However, altough I looked very hard I didn't see any dragonflies, but I did see the others. I spent an enjoyable morning here trying to get some shots of buttlerflies and beetles.
